Our Story
Rooted in engineering education, driven by purpose
Engineering Registration Consultants was co-founded by Prof Trevor Haas, a registered Professional Engineer and Professional Engineering Technologist, and accomplished academic with decades of experience in engineering education, professional registration, and curriculum development.
Having guided numerous engineering professionals through the ECSA registration process and played a pivotal role in accreditation reviews for engineering programmes across South Africa, Prof Haas recognised the need for a dedicated consultancy that could bridge the gap between engineering graduates and professional recognition.
Michelle Haas leads the strategic and operational functions of ERC, bringing a strong client-focused approach, attention to detail, and organisational oversight. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping the company's growth and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, tailored services to both engineers and academic institutions.
